  2. Lift your hands and legs off the ground either six inches or until you feel a contraction in your lower back.

  4. Hold this position for three to five seconds before resting.
  5. Repeat this exercise 10 times.

Drawing-In Maneuver

  1. Lie on your back with your feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
  2. Keep your arms relaxed and at your side.
  3. Without tilting your hips, pull your belly button in towards your spine. Be sure you’re engaging your abdominal muscles. 
  4. Hold for five seconds before returning to the rest position.
  5. Perform this exercise at least five times.
